I Did Things!

I've done a lot of crocheting since I fell off the map with last semester and getting sick with every non-serious respiratory infection ever.

Even better, I remembered to take pictures of some of them. So here's a picspam of my work!

Cthulhu! I've made a dozen of these. Everyone seems to be impressed at my ability to mass-produce evil. Except for my parents and siblings, who understand it as an innate ability.

That said, if Cthulhu ever awakens from his sleep, I'm so screwed.

Pokeball! I've made one of these so far, now I have a dozen requests for more.

Winged elephant for a friend's engagement gift. Possibly one of the cutest things I've ever made.

Kirby! A valentine's gift for one of my friends for his boyfriend. I didn't have red or blue felt at the time, so I ended up painting some white felt.

Umbreon, for a different friend and his boyfriend. There's a matching espeon, but I can't get any website to rotate the picture properly.

D&D cleric made for my study partner/friend/life saver.

Robot, made for a different friend. It was my first attempt at embroidering on crocheted fabric, and I think it turned out well. My friend is happy with it, at the ver

Ninja! Ridiculously cute ninja!

A grim reaper, the other plush besides Cthulhu I've mass-produced. I think I've made ten of them so far. Another friend of mine made the awesome scythe out of polymer clay.

I LOVE THESE!!

I can't manage to get crochet under my fingers. I've knitted too much maybe, or maybe I'm just not patient enough. Either way, I looooooove when people share things like this that can be made with that magical skill!!

Your mutant power is crocheting Cthulhu. That's unspeakably badass.

Thank you so much! I'm so glad that others enjoy these as much as I do!

I have just as much trouble with knitting. Honestly, I don't get it.

Have you tried crocheting on your fingers instead of with a hook? That's what it took to get me to understand how it worked. Or learning Tunisian crochet? It's basically a hybrid of knitting and crochet.

I KNOW RIGHT? EITHER I HAVE SOMEHOW GAINED AN OUTER GOD'S FAVOR OR I'VE PISSED OFF ONE OF THE GREAT OLD ONES. OR BOTH. Seriously, how many people can say that?
